History of District 20 Softball

Where we started.

Florida District 20 Little League Softball was established in 1998 following its separation from
District 11, aiming to better serve the growing number of youth softball players in the region.
Since its inception, District 20 has been committed to providing girls aged 6 to 16 with
opportunities to develop their skills, sportsmanship, and love for the game. The district
encompasses several local leagues, including Chaires, Fort Braden, Northwest Leon, and
Woodville, fostering a strong sense of community and competition among its teams. Over the
years, District 20 has seen its teams achieve notable success in state tournaments, reflecting
the dedication of its players, coaches, and volunteers. The district continues to uphold the
values of Little League, emphasizing character, courage, and loyalty, while nurturing the next
generation of athletes both on and off the field.

I am who I am. I'm going to be who I am. And I'm going to give my all to the game in the way that I do it.
